The Cottage Restaurant is situated at the top end of the strip on the square just near 60's bar, before the Chor Bar. Well established since 1998. Pete & Chez are your hosts with friendly staff that make you very welcome. English Breakfast Bacon, egg, sausage, beans, grilled or tinned tomato & toast or fried bread €1.95, double breakfast €3.95. Lovely Dutch bar/restaurant, full english breakfast €1.75 , double breakfast €3.50 really good value. Dutch snacks and excellent night time menu.A pint of San Miguel is only €1 up until 18.00hrs, well recommended. Owners Weibe & Marian are very friendly (They both speak English) & will make you very welcome. Situated on SANTA EULALIA ROAD just before the DOM PANCHO HOTEL on same side coming from the world/globe roundabout.Excellent value give them a try.OPEN ALL WINTER

Delicious Pizzas, Delicious lasagne, spaghetti,red hot chicken wings,potato skins & salads. Well recommended.Paulo the owner & staff are very obliging and friendly . Located on The Strip near The Garage disco bar. CLOSED DURING WINTER open 1st March.
NOSOLO ITALIA: Situated just past the main crossroads on the strip.Although never been in this restaurant, youngest son said it was excellent, good meal,good service and good price, and he would recommend it to anyone. (Closed during winter months)
OS COMPADRES.(PORTUGUESE) Excellent restaurant, situated at the Montechoro Hotel end of The Strip in the square near the 60's Bar. Tourist special menu, STARTERS: consisting of Bread & Pate & Soup of the day, MAIN MEAL: 6 Meat choices & 2 Fish choices served with chips/potatoes & salad, DESSERT: Choice of Cake or Ice Cream.DRINKS: choice of half bottle of red or white table wine/small beer/water/soft drink. Finish off with a Coffee. €8 per person. They also do a full traditional menu. WELL RECOMMENDED. OPEN WINTER/CLOSED SUNDAYS
CLAY OVEN: (INDIAN). Situated on the main drag through to Albufeira Old Town (Near the Taxi Rank). Another recommendation from youngest son (7 in family), they said it was the best curry they have ever had (FIRST CLASS) in Albufeira or the UK,(ate their 3 times in 2 week stay). Again we have never tried this restaurant.but will try it at let you know our opinions.(Open all Winter)
